Temporary closure on Al Markhiya Street

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will implement a temporary closure on Al Markhiya street, in front of Al Hazm Mall, from December 15 to December 17 for six hours every day starting midnight and until 6.00am.
This is to facilitate installation of claddings for Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) on Al Markhiya Street between Dahl Alhamam Junction and Lajbailat junction.
During the period, traffic will be diverted to the alternative road adjacent to the closed section of Al Markhiya Street.
Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the closure. The authority has requested all road users to abide by the speed limits and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
