Late drama as Shahania share the points in stoppage time
Al Kharaitiyat and Al Shahania shared the points with a 1-1 draw Al Khor Stadium on Friday evening. The last ten minutes plus injury time provided a goal for each side and saw two penalties awarded to Al Shahania. The closest anyone came to scoring was when in the twenty-first minute when an unmarked Moussa al Allaq of Kharaitiyat headed the ball over the bar from a cross. Shahaniya had some long range shots at goal but nothing to threaten Kharaitiyat goalkeeper, Ahmed Sufyan.

The first goal of the game came in the eighty-eighth minute courtesy of Kharaitiyat's striker Jeremy Bokila. The Congolese striker sent the ball home with his right foot from close range after he connected with an inch-perfect cross from Abdelhaadi Ameen from the right.
