To mark World Diabetes Day, M'f6venpick Hotel Al Aziziyah hosted Power Bites cooking class for parents and children from Maymouna Primary Girls School to raise awareness about the importance of healthy eating habits, better lifestyle choices and early screening.
Parents and children learned to make two fun, nutritious Power Bites lunchbox recipes, created by blogger Fathima Mansor of @TableforFiveDubai, in a class that was held on the terrace of Blue restaurant. Power Bites is a selection of M'f6venpick's exclusive dishes for children that focuses on nutritional ingredients and healthy cooking methods presented in a fun way.
"We are dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles, and we believe it is important to instil healthy eating habits from an early age. Involving children in cooking preparation is a great way to do that," said M'f6venpick Hotel Al Aziziyah General Manager Beat Peter.
M'f6venpick Hotel Al Aziziyah is one of the 21 participating properties of Movenpick Hotel and Resorts that hosted cooking classes in early November to mark World Diabetes Day.
