Emir, Father Emir receive condolences from Saudi deputy crown prince
THE Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani and the Father Emir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani met at Al Wajba Palace on Wednesday with Saudi Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, who offered condolences on the death of the Grandfather Emir HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Thani. HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Khalifa al Thani was also present along with HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al Thani, the personal representative of HH the Emir, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa al Thani, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa al Thani, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa al Thani, and a number of their excellencies sons of HH the Father Emir.
The Saudi deputy crown prince was accompanied by Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz al Saud and Prince Turki bin Hathloul bin Abdulaziz al Saud, who offered their condolences. The Saudi deputy crown prince was received and seen off at Hamad International Airport by HH the Deputy Emir. The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani was present as well. (QNA)

President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Doha on Wednesday to offer condolences on the death of the Grandfather Emir HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Thani.
