US praises Qatar's role in combating terrorist funding

DOHA The US on Wednesday praised Qatar's role in combating terrorist financing. US Treasury Department official Daniel Glaser discussed Qatar's recent positive efforts to counter terrorist financing with Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani. In a press statement, the US embassy said the US appreciates Qatar's role as a coalition partner in the fight against ISIL. page 4
