DOHA
A host of players made late moves as the Qatar Stars League transfer window was closed last week.
The transfers included Vivien Assie Koua who moved to Al Arabi from Al Kharaitiyat, Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila joined Al Gharafa and Alain Dioko joined newly-promoted Muaither.
Lekhwiya
The Red Knights have grabbed two signings over the summer, with Morrocan international striker Yusef El Arabi coming from Granada in Spain and Qatari keeper Qasem Burhan joining them on a one-year loan deal from Al Gharafa.
Al Sadd
Al Sadd made two additions with Moroccan winger Jugurtha Hamroun joining them on a year loan deal from Steaua Bucharest whilst defender Hamad Ismael managing a season loan deal from Al Rayyan.
El Jaish
Sabri Lamouchi's side grabbed the headlines with the acquisition of former FC Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita. The Mailian midfielder is joined by a local trio of Hamza Sanhaji, Dame Traor` and Mohammed Abdurabb as new signings at the club.
Al Rayyan
Defending QSL champions Al Rayyan signed three local players in Khaled al Zakiba, Abdurahman al Harazi and Mosaab Mahmoud.
Umm Salal
Umm Salal have been busy in both the domestic and international markets. They have picked three foreign professionals in Anderson Martins, Alef and Tha'er Bawab.
Locally, Umm Salal signed five players - Waleed Mohyaden, Omar Ibrahim, Ali Nassr, Mohammed Jeddo and Mohammed Helal. Al Ahli
Al Ahli contracted two foreign players in Ivorian striker Yessoh Nguessan and Bahrain defender Sayed Adnan. Locally, they signed seven players - Jassem al Mulla, Ali Sadeq, Anas Imbrahim, Mohammed Ibrahim, Abdulrahman Mohammed, Hussain Yasser and Abdulla Afifa.
Al Arabi
It's been a busy summer for the Dream Team, who brought in three international players. These are Chilean midfielder Luis Jimenez, Mustafa Sall and Nigerian attacker Imoh Ezekiel who returned to them after two years away on loan.
Locally, Al Arabi signed a host of players like Mohammed Mubarak, Rami Fayez, Mohammed Juuma,Vivien Assie Koua, Wagner Ribero, Talal al Bloushi and Ahmed Maqsoud.
Al Khor
Three foreign players joined the Knights in the summer transfer and they are: Brazilian defender Welinton Souza, Kuwaiti player Sultan al Enezi and striker Mouhcine Iajour. Domestically, Al Khor signed Abdullah Aiesh, Saleh al Yazidi, Babou Sidiki and Majed Aman.
Al Shahania
The newly-promoted side were the busiest in the QSL bringing in a total of 12 players. These included two international players both hailing from Algeria Mohamed Tia'efba and Kaled Gourmi.
The Oryxes also struck local deals with Khalifah al Ammari, Fahad Khalfan, Taher Zakaria Yousef Hani Balan, Muaaz Yousef, Abdulla Khalid, Mohammed Hussain and Abdurahman al Jassem and Saad Hussain.
Al Kharaityat
The Thunders picked three professional players - DR Congo striker Jeremy Bokila, Morrocan midfielder Abdelmoula Berrabeh and Australian Erik Paartalu. Domestically, they roped in Lassina Diaby, Khaled Radhwan, Adel Bader, Abdulrahman Mesbeh, Mousa Allaq and Saoud Nasser.
Al Wakrah
The Blue Waves have signed two foreign professional strikers in Pablo Olivera and Pablo Zeballos. Locally, they grabbed two players in Mahmoud Attiyah and Moaz Yahya.
Al Sailiya
Sami Trabelsi's side signed Cameroon international striker Paul Efoulou. Domestically, they opted for attacker Ali Aloob.
Al Gharafa
The Cheetahs have strengthened their squad with three players. Pedro Caixinia has brought in foreign players in Kooky Han and defender Rashid Sumaila. Al Gharafa made one local notable signing, bringing in keeper Ivanildo Rodrigues on loan from Lekhwiya.
Muaither
Newly-promoted Muaither chose a trio of foreign professionals - Alain Dioko, William Schulster and defender Bruno Aguiar, who will share the responsibility of keeping them in the First Division this season.
Locally, Muaither have got a host players to strengthen the side - Adel Lamy, Mohammed Yassr, Basel Zidan, Shaheen Ali, Abdurahman Waleed, Khalifa Salman and Huthaifa Al Salemi.
