Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) has chosen NCR, a global leader in omni-channel technologies, to monitor and manage QIIB's ATM network for several years.
It will help the bank to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
QIIB and NCR signed a three-year agreement
During the signing ceremony, QIIB was represented by Deputy CEO Jamal Abdullah al Jammal while NCR was represented by General Manager Qatar branch Hicham Yamout.
Speaking on the occasion, Jammal said,"At QIIB, we are committed to provide the best banking solutions and technologies to our clients. We are happy today to sign this partnership agreement with a global company such as NCR."
"We have in fact a long history of effective cooperation with the company and today, we are taking this cooperation to a whole new level which will reflect on our clients and the quality of the services provided to them through a QIIB country-wide ATM network," he added.
"Investing in technology is one of the most important successful solutions to increase efficiency and efficacy as well as meet requirements in line with the clients' expectations.
"Improving the level of security requires us to keep pace with the best technological innovations and solutions."
NCR will provide QIIB with solutions to monitor and handle any problem, necessary updates to the bank's ATM network in a fast and efficient manner.
