Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) CEO HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani on Sunday inaugurated new studios bearing the name of the late “Jassim Abdulaziz” in honour and appreciation of his great efforts and media career. The step reflects the keenness to commemorate one of the most important names that served the media. The launch of these studios will be a qualitative addition to the media in Qatar.
Built on an area of 400 square metres, the studios include latest technology in television broadcasting, in order to ensure the provision of an integrated media experience in terms of sound and image. These studios were established under exceptional circumstances and in record time, to be opened and inaugurated with the blessed Ramadan programmes, to be a milestone, and a new addition to the institution’s advanced facilities in the world of media.
Sheikh Abdulrahman said the name of the journalist Jassim Abdulaziz was launched on the studios in honour of his excellence, and in appreciation of his media career through which he served Qatar TV. (QNA)
