THE seventh annual meeting of GCC justice undersecretaries began at the GCC General Secretariat on Wednesday.
Qatar took part in the meeting represented by a delegation led by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Sultan bin Abdullah al Suwaidi.
The meeting will discuss a number of topics related to strengthening judicial and legal cooperation and integration among the GCC countries, notably the Qatari proposal towards the initiative to set up Arab network for experts.
The meet will also discuss results of the meetings of officials of the departments of international cooperation and international relations at GCC justice ministries during their 27th meeting held in Doha last year as well as follow up on the draft general agreement for the extradition of offenders between GCC states, the code of conduct of personnel of the GCC justice and judiciary entities, the findings of the committee of experts towards the ideal rules of combating human trafficking in GCC states and preparing a preliminary study on abuse of social media.
