The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has carried out 1,474 inspection visits to workplaces, workers accommodations and facilities, which includes 88185 workers, in different areas of the state, in the first week of the conscious campaign.
This campaign comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and it targets all facilities in the country, through field visits by inspectors of the Labor Inspection Department.
The labor inspectors and the occupational safety and health inspectors at the ministry visited the workplaces and workers’ accommodations and communicated with companies to provide educational leaflets, advice to avoid the spread of the coronavirus, in addition to raising awareness of the conditions and specifications for adequate housing and occupational health and safety.
