Home care and medical services agency Qatar Care has assured the public of its commitment to serve the community and ensure the safety of its staff and those in the frontline.
In a statement issued by Qatar Care CEO and Managing Director Abdulrahman al Majed recently, he hailed its more than 300 nurses deployed in various hospitals across the country and
other frontline workers as “heroes who are actively involved in the fight against Covid-19”.
Qatar Care nurses are deployed in private homes, quarantine areas, Hamad - Private Nursing Services and the Ministry of Public Health’s selected areas of healthcare volunteer deployments for swabbing.
The agency’s General Manager Mary Rose Uy, RN, Assistant General Manager Rowena Dimpaso, RN and Education and Training Director Peach Dale Esloyo, RN, and nurse supervisors were also among those who volunteered in the field as registered nurses.
Majed said, “As we enter these challenging times, we want to assure everyone that we are taking every possible measure to ensure the safety of each employee, the frontline, in the safest way we can. We will continue to keep you updated with our steps and actions to keep our community safe and sound.”
He added, “First, we are prepared and ready to face this kind of challenges and we already executed our Contingency and Business Continuity Plan. Our of?ce has been closed effective today, and all immediate heads are on the assigned locations so that staff can easily access them for any assistance.
“Second, we are closely following the precautionary measures recommended by the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Ministry of Public Health Qatar and other international and local institutions for health advice and prevention strategies,”.
He also stressed that Qatar Care had increased sanitary measures in its offices, accommodations and transportations.
He underlined the continuous health education of all staff.
Qatar Care is a Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) licensed medical and nursing healthcare provider for 12 years with a Dimond Level accreditation from ACI, Canada and an ISO 9001: 2015 certified.
