Minister of Municipality and Environment HE Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki al Subaie participated in the the second session of the Franco-Qatari economic circle (Qadran), which was opened by Ambassador of Qatar to France HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassem al Thani, in the presence of Qatari and French businessmen.
Sheikh Ali said the organisation of the economic meeting in Paris coincided with the start of the activities of the Qatar-France Year of Culture 2020, and aims to focus on Qatar’s plan for smart cities in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The ambassador affirmed the distinguished economic relations between Qatar and France, pointing to the signing of a long-term agreement between Qatar Petroleum and French company Elengy last week to import and store LNG in France.
During the economic meeting, round tables on smart cities and innovative transportation and were organized with the participation of leading Qatari and French businessmen.
