THE Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ has announced temporary conversion of Al Diwan intersection on Al Rayyan Road into a temporary roundabout from Friday, February 28, until April 15, 2020.
However, two lanes will be kept open to accommodate traffic in all directions during the period, an Ashghal press release said on Wednesday.
The traffic change will be implemented by Ashghal, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, to enable the installation of new traffic lights on Al Diwan intersection as part of the A-Ring Road Development Project.
The Public Works Authority will instal road signs to guide motorists about the temporary change.
Ashghal has urged commuters to abide by the speed limit and follow road signs to ensure their safety.
