THE Indian Cultural Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), in association with Bema Takaful Insurance Company, has launched an insurance scheme for the Indian community in Qatar. The KMCC Malappuram District Committee and Ali International Company recently added around 250 members to the scheme.
Muslim League National Organising Secretary ET Mohammed Basheer MP handed over the applications to ICBF President PN Babu Raj at the KMCC office.
The ICBF president congratulated the KMCC Malappuram District Committee and Ali International Company Management on the occasion.
The meeting was presided over by KMCC Malappuram district President K Mohammed Eassa. Also in attendance were: State KMCC Advisory Board member Salim Nakkalakam, Treasurer Ali Morayoor, ICBF General Secretary Avinash Gaikwad and Vice-President Mahesh Gowda.
Ali International Company representatives Munas, Shafiq, Gireesh, Zubair, Sharafu and Nishad; District Councilors including Rafeeq Kondotty, Salam Wandoor, Layis Kuniyil, Majeed Thavanoor, Yunus Vengara, Akbar Vengasheri and Basheer Chelebra also attended the event.
The members enrolled in the scheme are eligible to get up to QR100,000 benefits upon claim in two years’ time.
