Twenty-three dead after bandit attack on Nigerian village

Lagos: Unidentified bandits have killed at least 23 people in a village in northern Nigeria, residents said on Thursday. Among the victims were three women and nine children belonging to the same family, who had been burnt alive inside their home when the bandits attacked the village of Bakali in the state of Kaduna on Tuesday, resident Sani Bakali told DPA. The robbers mainly stole livestock and motorcycles. (DPA)
