President of the Civil Aviation Authority Abdullah bin Nasser Turki al Subaey met with President of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council Salvatore Sciacchitano at the organisation’s headquarters in Montreal, Canada, on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Subaey congratulated Sciacchitano on his recent election as President of the ICAO Council, wishing him success. He stressed Qatar’s commitment to the principles and goals of the organisation, and its continuous support for all its initiatives related to achieving security, safety and efficient system for civil aviation in the world.
Subaey also met with Secretary-General of the ICAO Dr Fang Liu. They reviewed the relations between Qatar and the organisation in the field of civil aviation and the means of supporting and developing them.
