The Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza on Sunday started disbursing financial assistance to the needy families in Gaza Strip.
The assistance of $100 for each family was distributed according to the previously agreed criteria and conditions in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development in Gaza.
The cash delivery will go on for several days until all the needy families (about 70,000) are covered.
This aid comes within the grant of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani to the Palestinian people, in the context of alleviating the sufferings of the people in the Gaza Strip.
Khaled al Hardan, Deputy Chairman of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, conducted a tour of cash aid distribution centres and inspected the cash disbursement.
