MME implements new system to grow trees in desert areas

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the Public Parks and Natural Reserves Department, has implemented the Cocoon System to afforest the desert areas in the country. The device is made of recycled paper, wrapped with a wax layer for protection and equipped with a water tank having a capacity of 25 litres to meet the needs of the plant for a year. (TNN)
