Qatar defeated South Korea 34-27 in the first of their Group 2 main round matches of the Asian Men’s Handball Championship at the Shaikh Saad Al Abdullah Sports Hall Complex in Kuwait City. Qatar led 18-13 at half time. Group 2 consists of hosts Kuwait and Iran besides Qatar and South Korea. The top two teams from the group will qualify for the semi-finals. Qatar meet Iran in their next clash on Tuesday.
