President of Sri Lanka Gotabaya Rajapaksa received the credentials of HE Jassim bin Jabor Jassim al Suroor as the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Qatar to Sri Lanka. The ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani to the president, wishing him, the government and the people of Sri Lanka the best of health, happiness, progress and prosperity. For his part, the president entrusted the ambassador with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness, and Qatar progress and prosperity. The president also wished the ambassador success in carrying out his duties, assuring him of all support to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries. (QNA)
