The Qatar Sports For All Federation will organise the fifth Qatar Youth Football League as a part of the Qatar Sports Day 2020 activities. The League is hosted by the federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the matches will continue until next April.
The Qatar Sports For All Federation announced that the registration of the teams has stated, revealing that the 2020 edition will be played at the Aspire Zone for the first time. In the past years, it was played at the Doha Stadium.
The federation confirmed that the tournament will be held for over-16 Qatari players who are not professional or registered with the Qatar Football Association for the 2019-2020 sports season.
The Qatar Sports For All Federation determined the number of players in each team will be minimum 14 and maximum 20.
Qatar Youth League Director Abdullah al Dossary said that the Qatar Youth League will provide an opportunity for Qatari youth to play football in a professional atmosphere. The federation ensures that the tournament is hosted at the highest level with the matches being supervised by distinguished referees. Also the medical care will be provided during the championship matches.
He added the federation will also offer training places for those teams that register early in order to get the best preparations, which will contributes to raising the level of competition in the league.
