Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs (QSRN) organised a training and rehabilitation programme for girls with disabilities, with the participation of a large group of its members.
The event included training girls with minor and moderate intellectual disabilities in various skills, plastic arts and creative activities such as drawing on glass and ceramic utensils, by drawing shapes and words on cups and plates with the help of association teachers and volunteers.
Talib Afifa, a member of the Board of Directors of the QSRN, said the programme comes as part of the plans of the organization for rehabilitation of people with disabilities, developing their skills of focus and exploring, refining and developing their skills through continuous training by specialist trainers working at its centres.
Afifa praised the high level and creativity of female trainees, their artistic production and wonderful paintings on the glass.
