The Social Development Center (Nama) is organising its ‘Mulhemeen’ Inspirational Speakers Series for 2019 in a new format.
This year’s series will include winners of the 2019 Reyada Award, mainly the winner of the gold shield in the Business Plan category Rawda al Qubaisi, the winner of the silver shield in the same category Nora al Marri, as well as the winners of the Best Startup category Muhammad Rashid al Matwi and Mohammed al Khoury.
Among the inspirational speakers that will be contributing to this edition of the series are Ramzan al Naimi, marketing communication and corporate innovation specialist, and Mohamed Saadoun al Kuwari, beIN Sports anchor.
The upgraded version of the series aims to focus on success stories and to introduce entrepreneurs and the local community in Qatar to the most prominent local, regional and international personalities and entrepreneurs in various fields and sectors.
This is considered as one of the main activities that the Center is keen to organise every year in the aim of attracting successful, inspiring and visionary entrepreneurs with tangible achievements to share their personal experiences and professional journey and to impart their expertise to pave the way for a new generation of entrepreneurs or ambitious startup owners.
The programme also provides a window to investigate their success factors, as well as the major difficulties and challenges they faced on their way to success and how they faced and overcame them.
It sheds light on the important role of the local entrepreneur and his effective contribution to the development of the national economy in addition to the dissemination of messages of inspiration, motivation, encouragement and achievement among entrepreneurs and participants.
Commenting on the Mulhemeen programme, Hamad al Saffar, acting director of the Entrepreneurship Section, said: “Mulhemeen is an important development programme. It is a platform that brings together promising entrepreneurs with successful entrepreneurs. The series hosts visionary speakers to speak of their personal experiences and benefit future entrepreneurs.”
He added, “The series is hosting the winners of the Reyada Award to talk about their experiences and share stories from the entrepreneurship world. Mulhemeen embodies a great and important opportunity for young entrepreneurs.”
