Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia Ahmed Awad Issa has lauded the strong and continuous Qatari support for Somalia.
Somali people and government are thankful to Qatar for its distinguished, pivotal and fundamental role in enhancing security in Somalia, he said.
The Somali FM expressed his gratitude for participating in the Doha Forum, especially as it reflects the Qatari role in support of global issues and being one of the most important international forums for its political and economic participation which brings together experts and specialists in the related fields.
He denounced the negative impact and external interference in his country, noting that the Somali people are behind their leadership, rejecting the influence of any external forces on their unity and security. (QNA)
