The Cabinet has approved a draft law amending some provisions of Law No 15 of 2011 on combating human trafficking and referred it to the Shura Council.
The Cabinet also approved a draft law amending some provisions of Law No (15) of 2014 on the organisation of charitable works and an Amiri draft decision regulating the charity organisation.
The preparation of the draft law and the resolution aims at updating the legislation to keep abreast of developments.
The Cabinet also approved a draft Amiri Resolution amending some provisions of Amiri Resolution No. (44) of 2014 establishing Qatar General Authority for Standardization and Standardization.
The amendment requires the transfer of Qatar General Authority for Standards and Metrology from the Ministry of Municipality and Environment to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The Cabinet also approved draft resolution amending the organisation of some administrative units comprising the Ministry of Finance and defining their competencies.
The Cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani on Wednesday.
