Food samples taken from the home of a family in Qatar hospitalised with symptoms of food-poisoning did not show the presence of botulinum bacteria, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Tuesday.
Samples collected from the local market of the same food found in the home also did not show botulinum contamination, the ministry added.
The ministry said technical teams that inspected the house of the victims observed unsafe food practices there.
The victims — a man, his daughter and son — have been given anti-botulinum drug and are recuperating in a hospital. (TNN)
