The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani has called for Istisqaa (rain-seeking) prayer to be performed across the country on Thursday morning, 17 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1441 AH, corresponding to November 14, 2019. The Amir will perform the Istisqaa prayer with citizen worshipers at Al-Wajba prayer ground.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has called on all Muslims in the state to perform Istisqa prayer on Thursday morning in line with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) to pray for rain. In a statement, the ministry called for the performance of Istisqa prayer at the state’s mosques on Thursday.
