Pakistan International School Qatar  (PISQ) honoured meritorious students who excelled in SSC and HSSC annual examinations, 2019 at Annual Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony held recently. 
The exams were conducted by Islamabad-based Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) and the students were awarded with shields, rolls of honour and merit certificates. 
Community Welfare Attaché at the Pakistan embassy and PISQ Vice Chairman Board of Governors Hafiz Junaid Amir Sial graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Principal Nargis Raza Otho, vice principals, teachers, dignitaries and parents of the award winning students attended the prestigious event. 
PISQ students performed admirably well in the SSC and HSSC annual examinations. As many as 174 students of SSC and HSSC were among the award winners. A1 and A grade holders of SSC and HSSC were awarded with merit certificates by the principal. 
The first, second and third position holders were honoured with shields and rolls of honour by the Chief Guest  and the Principal. Best teachers were also awarded certificates for producing excellent results in the SSC and HSSC exams. 
The student hosts of the ceremony, Munyb Jamal and Mauzza Naseem, briefed the audience about the start of PISQ Cambridge Stream.  
Sial greatly appreciated efforts of PISQ principal and teachers. He congratulated the students and their parents on brilliant performance of the students. 
The valedictorians Muhammad Moosa and Safa Saif expressed their gratitude to Almighty Allah, principal, teachers and parents for their support. They said that they would always cherish the sweet memories of their days at Pakistan International School, Qatar.
