Qatar-Italy trade jumps 16 percent to €2.8 billion

The trade between Qatar and Italy jumped 16 percent to €2.8 billion in 2018 from €2.4 billion in 2017, Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al Thani has said. Addressing the Arab-Italian Business Forum in Milan, Sheikha Khalifa said, “Italy is a prime destination for Qatari investments. Foremost of these investments is the Adriatic Liquid Natural Gas terminal, which is a partnership of Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Snam.
