Qatar crushed Iran in the first handball Test match, storming to a dominant 36-18 victory at the Duhail Sports Complex on Tuesday. The winners were 16-11 ahead at the interval before cutting loose in the second half. Both teams are preparing for the Asian qualifiers for the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020, which will take place at the same venue from October 17 to 26. The second and last match between them is scheduled on Thursday.
