MEEZA Expansion, a Doha-based division of Qatar’s prominent end-to-end managed IT services & solutions provider, on Tuesday hosted its first briefing session in Doha to introduce its services and future plans to the media and the public.
The event was attended by several board members.
In her introductory presentation, Meeza Expansion CEO Ghada Philip el Rassi highlighted the roles, services as well as the company’s plans.
Meeza Expansion was launched in 2018 as an extension of the Meeza QSTP-LLC with focus mainly on cloud computing services.
“In 2009, Meeza was the first to introduce cloud services but the market was not ready then. This service is very much required now,” said Rassi.
“Meeza Expansion is a profitable company that is anchored to innovative solutions that meet the market needs and demands. We enhanced our infrastructure in 2018 and earned a market place by providing renewable solutions to fit the market’s needs,” she said.
According to her, the new service is the business cloud which will be offered to clients inside and outside Qatar in addition to all Meeza previous products.
“In 2019, we worked excessively on launching the RECaaS platform, a solution which is a comprehensive cloud-based disaster-recovery.” Rassi added.
Meeza is one of the four organizations worldwide which attained a Data Centre LEED platinum certification.
“We operate in the Middle East and Europe and we are proud that just like any other international companies, Meeza is more than capable of delivering these cloud services at almost 100 percent guaranteed security,” she said.
David Wilds, Expansion Operations Executive at MEEZA Expansion, said: “Our primary objective is to simplify the way we do business so clients can focus on what is important for their core business. We work to provide our clients with innovative and cost-effective solutions to help them grow their businesses.”
Meeza Expansion plans to achieve brand awareness and reach out to the region and the world. Meeza Expansion currently has data centres in Turkey and Germany and if required, the platform can be under full control of the client.
