Several policies, proposals and draft regulations concerning the food, restaurant and catering sectors in Qatar were discussed at a meeting involving Qatar Chamber (QC) officials and industry representatives in Doha on Sunday.
A proposal to study prices in restaurants and catering companies through a specialised company was a major highlight of the discussions. The Chamber said the outputs of this discussion would be shared with the Consumer Protection Department for consultations.
