Qatar Airways (QA) is all set to increase the number of weekly flights to two popular destinations in South Africa by the end of October, a senior official of the airline has said.
Addressing a travel workshop organised by QA and South African Tourism Board in cooperation with the South African Embassy in Doha recently, Qatar Airways Vice-President of Sales Martha Paulos said the number of weekly flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town will be increased as the number of travellers on these two routes has soared in the recent past.
The number of weekly flights to Johannesburg will be increased from the current 19 to 21 by the end of October, she said, while the number of weekly flights to Cape Town will go up to 10 from the current seven a week.
