Bringing 150 exhibitors from 20 countries and an exhaustive portfolio of building materials, construction products and solutions under one roof, The Big 5 Construct Qatar exhibition will begin in Doha on Monday.
Being organised under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani, the second edition of the international building and construction show in Qatar will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre until Wednesday (Sept 25). It will also feature 40 free-to-attend educational workshops.
Backed by its strategic partner, the Qatar National Tourism Council, The Big 5 Construct Qatar will officially open at 11AM and will showcase the latest construction solutions and services.
Loubna Aghzafi, Country Manager at event organiser dmg events Doha, said: “Once again, The Big 5 Construct Qatar is back in Doha and we couldn’t be more pleased. The country continues to present great opportunities for construction professionals and The Big 5 Construct Qatar is the perfect place for them to network, conduct business, find new products, and enhance their skills.”
Visitors will benefit from a pool of over 150 exhibitors from 20 countries, representing the entire building process across seven product sectors: MEP services; building interiors and finishes; building envelope and special construction; construction tools and building materials; construction technologies and innovations; concrete, and plant machinery and vehicles.
In addition, free workshops on the sidelines will offer insight to visitors on the latest industry trends, tools and techniques. The agenda is comprised of 40 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) certified workshops covering the latest industry topics across topics including project management, architecture and design, general construction, sustainability and the hugely popular final day talks on BIM and women in construction.
“The Big 5 Construct Qatar will once again provide a platform for companies looking to grow their business in a market busy with preparations for FIFA World Cup 2022 and the long term Qatar National Vision 2030,” said Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre’s CEO Jose Vicente.
