As part of its efforts to educate graduate students and ensure their successful academic journey, Qatar University’s (QU) Office of Graduate Studies organised a workshop on ‘Successful Graduation Requirements’.
The event aimed to provide the information needed for graduate students to complete their study period effectively.
During the workshop, a number of important topics were discussed including how to follow the graduate programme study plan, how to plan the timing required to complete the thesis/dissertation, information related to writing the thesis/dissertation, information on rights and duties and services provided by the Office of Graduate Studies.
A total of 1,460 male and female students are enrolled in QU’s Graduate Studies Programme, 503 of whom are Qatari. A total of 122 male and female students attended the workshop on graduation requirements to learn more, have an open discussion and have their inquiries answered.
Associate Dean of Graduate Studies Dr Ahmad al Own gave a speech at the workshop where he discussed the importance of the event and its objective to help students complete graduation requirements successfully without complications.
