Gaiety, fervour mark celebrations at DPS-MIS

Gaity and fervour marked the celebrations of the 73rd Independence Day of India at DPS-Modern Indian School on Thursday. Doha Bank CEO Dr R Seetharaman, who was the chief guest, unfurled the tricolour in the presence of DPS-MIS Executive Committee members, dignitaries, students, staff and parents. It was followed by singing of the national anthem. Speaking on the occasion, Seetharaman praised India’s remarkable growth story and its esteemed position globally. DPS-MIS President Hassan Chougule spoke on national unity. The school choir presented patriotic songs on the occasion. (TNN)
