For the fifth year in a row, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education has launched the Tamkeen Training Program (Educational Empowerment Programme) for new teachers for the 2019-2020 academic year
The programme is the first of the ministry’s Training and Educational Development Center for teachers.
In order to ensure the quality of the training process, the Training and Educational Development Center works annually to develop and improve the training programmes in all technical and cognitive aspects in cooperation with the relevant departments in the education sector.
This year, separate training has been provided for the administrative laboratory, academic, social staff and psychological specialists, IT technicians, special educators and learning resource officials.
The programme aims to provide new teachers and administrators with the necessary information and skills to start work in a new environment and to raise awareness about a range of subjects related to their work before joining and starting their duties.
The ministry stressed the importance of introducing such programmes to enable teachers and new administrators to facilitate their integration into the school environment in the country.
