Al Sailiya continued their summer additions with the signing of Senegalese defender Kara Mbodji on a three-year deal from Anderlecht. The 29-year-old was part of the Senegalese team that finished second at the just-concluded African Cup of Nations in Egypt. The transfer is the third by the Peregrines this summer as they prepare to participate in the AFC Champions League this season. Midfielder Daniel Goumou and Iranian striker Karim Ansarifard have already been snapped up by the club.
