Qatar will host Kuwait for a series of three Twenty20 International matches
at the Asia Town Cricket
Stadium in Industrial Area from Thursday.
The series is being organised at the initiative of Qatar Cricket Association President Yousuf Jeham al Kuwari and the association has completed all the related arrangements for the exciting matches between the two strong teams of the Gulf region.
The series will also help the two teams get ranking points and the winners will improve their position on the ICC list.
QCA Operations Manager Manzoor Ahmad informed that the Kuwait team would arrive in Qatar on Thursday morning and stay here for four days.
“Kuwait are a strong team and we expect a close series as our team is also good. An opening ceremony has been planned at 6 pm at the stadium, while the match will start at 7 pm.
“The remaining matches will be played on Friday and Saturday, with the start scheduled at 6 pm,” he added.
Gul Khan Jadoon has been appointed the Team Manager and Shahid Mehboob is the Coach of the Qatar team.
