Tamuq students build car for student race in Michigan Jun 26, 2019 0 163 12345 Texas A&M University at Qatar (Tamuq) mechanical engineering students Ahmad Jamal al Kuwari, Alaa Abdalla and Ali al Ashar built and raced a car at the SAE Supermileage event in Michigan earlier this month. The SAE Supermileage programme is an engineering design competition for students, which provides them with an opportunity to enhance their engineering design and project management skills by applying what they’ve learnt in the classroom. The engineering design goal aimed to develop and construct a single-person, fuel-efficient vehicle. The vehicle was fully inspected through a series of tests to ensure it complied with the competition rules.
