Ryan Crouser, USA, Olympic Gold Medal shot putter
“What I’m looking forward to the most in the World Championships is definitely the atmosphere. I’m also looking forward to sharing what I’ve been working on for the past two to four years with the world. My ultimate goal is to come and throw really far.”
Lorraine Ugen, Great Britain, long jumper
“If anybody doesn’t have a ticket for the Championships, I’d say definitely jump on that right now – get involved! Come out and see us! Enjoy the city of Doha and the Championships. It’s not to be missed.”
Naa Anang, Australia,
long jumper:
“The Khalifa Stadium is impressive – really huge. The Aircon facilities look like they are going to be amazing. I love how there is a single runway. You don’t really have that often – which is really exciting for a jumper. Makes it more intimate and more focused on your event.”
