Macmillan Education recently organised a two-day workshop for teachers of the MES Indian School, helping them adapt to the technological advancements in the field of teaching.
The resource person of the workshop, Joji Paul, a CBSE trainer for CCE, Life Skills, Remodelled Assessment Classroom Management, Experimental Learning & Inclusion and Inclusive strategies, conducted the training session.
The workshop, conducted in two phases, was attended by teachers from kindergarten to senior secondary levels.
Joji stressed that the 21st Century education should include dynamic classrooms, with teachers understanding the requirements of modern students. “The availability of information at the click of a mouse has revolutionised teaching in the 21st century and made it challenging for those who are reluctant to change. Hence, teachers should be ready to adapt to changes and innovate teaching-learning strategies for the advancement of students’ learning,” he added.
Principal Hameeda Kadar in her keynote address urged teachers to think out of the box and go the extra mile in understanding the changing trends involved in the teaching-learning process. She also opined that there is no room in this world for those who are unwilling to update and remodel themselves.
