Minister of Public Health HE Dr Hanan Mohammed al Kuwari met separately with Minister of Public Health of Cuba Dr Roberto Morales; Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia David Sergeenko; and Special Envoy for Health in Austria Clemens Martin Auer, who is also candidate for regional director of the European Region of the World Health Organization (WHO), on the sidelines of the WHO World Health Assembly in Geneva.
During the meetings, they discussed the ways to promote cooperation between Qatar and each of the countries, especially in the health sector. They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
The Minister of Public Health also met separately with President of the Union for International Cancer Control Princess Dina Mired, Executive Director of UNITAID Dr Lelio Marmora and Vice-President of Biocubafarma Mayda Mauri Perez.
During the meetings, they discussed promoting relations with the entities, in addition to a number of topics of common concern.
