Atalanta drew 1-1 at Serie A champions Juventus Sunday and went third past Inter Milan, who lost 4-1 at Napoli.
Josip Ilicic tapped in a bouncing corner kick in the 33rd minute and Juve substitute Mario Mandzukic flicked under the legs of Pierluigi Gollini from a tight angle with 10 minutes left.
Juve’s other sub Federico Bernardeschi was red-carded for a harsh foul in stoppage time.

Juve, who had already secured a record eighth straight triumph, held a Scudetto party at the Allianz Stadium, where their striker Cristiano Ronaldo received the Best Serie A player award.
Coach Massimiliano Allegri, who will part ways with the Bianconeri, and retiring veteran defender Andrea Barzagli were honoured by the fans.
Napoli were already certain to finish in second place as Piotr Zielinski’s smashing drive, a header from the diminutive Dries Mertens and a Fabian Ruiz’ brace downed Inter, who sit now a single point clear of city rivals AC Milan.
The Devils beat relegated Frosinone 2-0 earlier Sunday and fill the first of two Europa League places, sitting ahead of Roma.
“Let’s not waste time talking about fourth or fifth place,” Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso said.
“On a professional level, playing the Champions League would be a dream. But if we finish fifth the evaluation of the season won’t change.”
Milan stumbled in the first half, and goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had to save a penalty taken from Camillo Ciano in the 50th, but the Devils took the lead seven minutes later thanks to a close-range flick by Krzysztof Piatek.
The Pole scored his 22nd goal, moving level with Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata as Sampdoria’s Fabio Quagliarella tops the chart on 26 and Ronaldo trails on 21.
Spaniard Suso curled in a majestic free-kick to clinch victory in the 66th.
Earlier on Sunday, troubled Empoli pummelled Europa League hopefuls Torino 4-1 to exit the drop-zone.
Afriyie Acquah, his substitute Matteo Brighi, Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Francesco Caputo sealed a win that pushed Empoli one point above Genoa, who now fill the third relegation slot after a 1-1 home draw against Cagliari on Saturday. Torino are two points off the Europa League slots.
Parma won 1-0 at home against Fiorentina and achieved safety thanks to an own goal from Brazilian Gerson. Fiorentina are three points above Genoa and will host them in the closing weekend.
Chievo, who are already relegated with Frosinone, had Federico Barba red-carded in a 0-0 draw against visiting Sampdoria.
Veteran striker Sergio Pellissier saluted the home crowd after announcing his farewell to football. The 40-year-old played 17 season with the Verona side.
On Saturday Roma drew 0-0 at Sassuolo, while Udinese beat Spal 3-2 and are now free of relegation worries.
Matchday 37 ends Monday with Lazio’s home game to Bologna.
