Bagging the top two positions, the MES Indian School emerged as the senior category topper in the inters-chool Hajikka Memorial Essay-Writing Competition.
The competition was conducted by the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) at Doha Modern Indian School.
In an essay contest that saw the participation of six CBSE affiliated schools, MES’s Valencia John (Class X-M) and Hridya Raju (Class X-R) bagged the first and second prizes respectively in the senior category. The “role of community in benevolence and charity” was the topic. Meanwhile, “Kindness is in my Nature” was the topic for the junior category.
The winners were honoured at a felicitation ceremony held recently at the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC).
