Dahlan al Hamad of Qatar has been retained as the Asian Athletics Association President for another term.
At the Asian Athletics Congress in Doha on Saturday, attended by 45- member federations, Hamad was re-elected for the term of 2019-2023.
Following his victory, Dahlan, also IAAF Vice-President, expressed his gratitude to all 45-member federations for trusting his leadership. He also pledged to continue his work to take all member federations together for developing and strengthening Asian athletics.
Dahlan was elected as the AAA chief in July 2013 in Pune, India.
