The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani chaired the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) of 2019 at the Amiri Diwan on Sunday. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Amir HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al Thani, and Personal Representative of the Amir HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al Thani, Deputy-Chairman of the Board.
Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani, who is also a member of the Board, and the other members of the Board attended the meeting.
During the meeting, latest developments in the Qatar 2022 football World Cup projects were reviewed, including infrastructure, stadiums and accommodation, in addition to the security plans and preparations for the tournament.
