SAK Holding Group on Sunday announced that its latest hotel apartment project Dana Al Sadd has achieved more than 35 percent occupancy within one month of its opening in Al Sadd area for rent.
Owned by Dana Al-Sadd Real Estate Company, the project is developed by SAK Holding Group under its ‘Sharkena’ initiative that adopts a method of partnership with owners of plots to develop real estate investment projects.
In a statement issued during a media event to showcase the impressive real estate project, SAK Holding Group Chairman Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah al Thani said the timely completion of the iconic hotel project asserts the significance of private sector’s role in the country’s hospitality sector.
A modern and elegant architectural marvel, Sheikh Thani said, Dana Al Sadd is a vital contribution to the country’s preparation for hosting the 2022 Fifa World Cup as well as other mega events related to sports, economy and tourism.
The project is strategically located to add value to the Al Sadd area, he said adding it will also be a valuable addition to the country’s hospitality sector.
The success of Dana Al Sadd, he said, will further encourage the SAK Holding Group to go for more partnerships with owners of plots to offer them great facilities, conditions and return on investments.
The higher occupancy rate achieved within a month of the opening of the project will attract more bidders for the occupancy of commercial units and spaces within the project, he said.
“Such units include various spaces that may be used as restaurants, cafes, supermarkets or any other vital facilities that will promote business in Al Sadd area and enrich the experience of guests and tourists. The project is ideally suited for both families and businessmen,” he said.
Addressing media persons on the occasion, a senior official of Dana Al Sadd Real Estate Company said, “We are highly satisfied with the occupancy achieved within a month. We are also satisfied with the rates at which the residential units are being rented.”
The official said the rates will reach its peak once all infrastructure works in the area are complete and service roads are connected to the upcoming Al Sadd Metro station.
He said the location of ‘Dana Al Sadd’ will be vital in attracting large number of people.
“The location is ideal for business as well as shopping and tourism. It is near Grand Regency Hotel, CenterPoint Mall, Lulu Center, Royal Plaza, Al Sadd Plaza, Al Mirqab Mall, Hamad Hospital, Rumailah Hospital and the new roads network that intersects with Doha Metro,” the official said.
Al Bawadi Real Estate Development Company, the real estate partner of SAK Holding on this project, confirmed that highest standards were applied while developing the project.
Consisting of five storeys and 165 different hotel units including 20 large hotel suites, three restaurants and kitchens covering an area of 1215 square meters, Dana Al-Sadd also includes an equipped gym, sauna and spa covering an area of 270 square meters and swimming pool.
