Speaker of the Advisory (Shura) Council HE Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al Mahmoud met on Monday with heads of Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Groups with the parliaments of brotherly and friendly countries which were recently formed in the framework of the Council’s efforts to strengthen its foreign relations regionally and internationally.
During the meeting, they discussed the work plan of the friendship groups, how to implement the duties of these groups, and the moves towards the parliaments of brotherly and friendly countries based on specific programmes, in addition to intensifying the work of the groups during the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Doha in April.
