Doha
THE State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, a number of official institutions and private publishing houses, will participate in the 25th Casablanca International Publishing and Book Fair to be held from February 7 to 17.
The book fair being organised by the Ministry of Culture and Communication of the Kingdom of Morocco.
In a press statement on Monday, the Ministry of Culture and Sports stressed keenness to participate in this exhibition for the good response of the Moroccan public to Qatari publications as well as to strengthen its presence in various Arab and international book fairs.
The ministry added that the fair also provides an opportunity y to enhance cooperation between the Doha International Book Fair and the Casablanca Exhibition.
The pavilion of the State of Qatar at the fair will include showcase by the Library department at the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Qatar Museums and a number of Qatari publishing houses, including Dar Lusail and Dar Roza.
Twenty-four countries will participate in the 25th edition of the exhibition, which will be held in an area of 20,000 square metres. The total number of exhibitors is 712 including 302 direct exhibitors and 410 indirect exhibitors.
